Gathering of Givers: Breaking Boundaries

EWNJ is proud to partner with Women@NJPAC for this year’s Gathering of Givers. The event will examine how we look beyond boundaries as we compose our lives — escaping both the limitations that we place on ourselves and those that prevent us from connecting with individuals we perceive as having different values and perspectives. Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day for a morning of insight, inspiration, and instruction on how to erase lines and move past barriers of all kinds, as we hear from remarkable women who have crossed borders, both those they created themselves and those others imposed on them.

Speakers include historian, artist and New York Times best-selling essayist Nell Irvin Painter; opera singer Tharanga Goonetilleke, the first Sri Lankan woman to attend Juilliard; and Ferlanda Fox Nixon, the first female CEO of the Newark Regional Business Partnership.
