EWNJ’s Farewell Statement on Colleen Skinner

Regretfully, we would like to announce the resignation of Colleen M. Skinner as the Executive Director of EWNJ. We are so grateful for all of Colleen’s hard work, leadership, and dedication to EWNJ. A highly-skilled administrator and attorney with a stellar background, she provided a wealth of expertise and support to the Board, members, and sponsors. Over the years, she has been instrumental in the daily functioning and event management of EWNJ. She has made many noticeable achievements; from helping to launch several new programs, including our Master Classes and Executive Dinner Series, to improving our overall processes and organizing our strategic planning retreat.

Often taking on many roles, Colleen never shied away from a challenge. She navigated the organization through a pandemic and did not miss a beat. Colleen helped transition EWNJ onto a digital programming platform and also launched our highly successful Women Wednesday’s, the weekly virtual series that ran during the height of COVID-19.

Much of the organization’s success is a direct result of Colleen’s commitment to our continued growth. Colleen’s last day is March 5th. Please join me in thanking Colleen for her years of service to the organization. She will always be part of the EWNJ family. We wish Colleen all the best in her future endeavors.

We will be sharing details on the appointment of the Interim Director in a separate announcement.
